Pepper's Birthday

This past weekend we celebrated Pepper's birthday. We started the day with a lovely hike in Ridgefield...

Then we had a visit from the Aversanos. Alex and Owen had the best time playing together in the beautiful weather.

Then the party got bigger when Chuck, Miguel and Valerie joined us. We had some cake, drinks and many laughs!

And then it was time to call it a night and leave with a good bye kiss!

Easter weekend in Hudson

We had a wonderful weekend in Hudson with Pepper's family. Here are some pictures from the day of Poppy's memorial service. It was sad to say goodbye...but we did get a chance to see a lot of family members that we do not get to see very often.

On easter sunday we had a lovely brunch with family and egg hunt for the kids. Luckily Alex had three second cousins to help her find eggs. She had a blast.

Good Times in the "Pak"

Alex is now slightly obsessed with her "Pak." Pepper bought this new backpack to be able to take Alex on hikes and she LOVES IT! Every night when he comes home she greets him with, "Dada, Pak!" She must be put in the pack and carried around. Yesterday the weather cooperated and we were able to go on a very nice hike in Ridgefield. Alex loved every minute:)
