Trip to Norway

Mormor, Alex and I took a trip to Norway to visit family. Thank you so much for Steinar and Marit for letting us stay with you. I also want to thank Kari and Rikke for setting aside all their time to spend with us. We enjoyed seeing all of our other relatives as well. We spend most of our time in Bergen, where we visited my grandmother every day. We also went out to Steinar and Marit's vacation house for a night, visited the aquarium and did a little shopping:) We can't wait to go back soon with the whole family.

Alex is a big girl!

Alex has been potty training this week and we are all so excited! She has done GREAT! As incentive, Mormor bought her a dress up set which she was SO excited about. After two days of being dry, we had a cake for her to celebrate! Although we think Jackson enjoyed the cake more than anyone.

July 4th

We had a nice relaxing July 4th at home. Mormor came for dinner and it was delicious!

Jackson is now wearing glasses

Right around Jackson's birthday he was diagnosed with Accommodative Esotropia and will be wearing glasses for the unforseable future. He has been great with wearing his glasses and patching him to strengthen the muscles in his right eye. Some say he looks like the child from the movie "Jerry Maguire." Anyone agree?? Hahhah

I am sorry for the lack of posts lately...With some technical snafus and Facebook basically replacing all communication, I have let my blog go. But I am up and running again. I will try to backtrack a little too....

On June 16th Jackson turned one! We had a nice celebration at home with Mormor, Kiki, Poppy, Aunt Caite and Nana.

The Cake - He loved it!!

Our little climber. Jackson is unbelieveable with his climbing!! We have had to put away furniture, toys, etc. Althogh he still manages to find something to climb on!
